What happen to Steve Taylor?

In San Leandro, California on April 18, 2020, Officer Jason Fletcher responded to a 911 call in a Walmart where Steven Taylor was having a mental health crisis wielding a baseball bat and allegedly causing a disturbance. Without waiting for backup or attempting de-escalation/ crisis intervention techniques, Officer Fletcher deployed his taser hitting Steven Talylor twice then shooting him once. Steven was shot and killed by Officer Fletcher who has since been charged with voluntary manslaughter but hasn't been convicted.
